Aeroplan is Canada's premier rewards program, for frequent flyer's and credit card accumulators alike. "How do I know if I am eligible for rewards?" You must have an active Aeroplan account and your name must appear on the Agreement of Purchase and Sale to be eligible for the Aeroplan Miles. Please also note that only one Aeroplan Member can be rewarded with Aeroplan Miles for a real estate transaction. If there are two names on the Agreement of Purchase and Sale and both parties are Aeroplan Members you must decide which one of you will be rewarded the Aeroplan Miles. Not an Aeroplan Member? Not a problem... you can easily register at http://www.aeroplan.com. "What qualifies as an eligible transaction?" An eligible transaction for Client Rewards is a residential real estate (primary, secondary, recreational or investment) property located in Canada, being bought or sold. A property is not an eligible transaction where it is the subject of a government relocation (where the purchase or sale is part of the Integrated Relocation Program, Department of Defence or other government departments) or a corporate relocation program. "What exactly do I receive?" After an eligible real estate transaction closes, you will receive 500 Aeroplan Miles for every $10,000 in final transaction price** purchased and/or sold. For example, if you sell your home for $300,000, then you will receive 15,000 Aeroplan Miles for using our services. To arrange for Aeroplan Miles to be applied to your active Aeroplan account we will complete the forms necessary and fax them in within 15 business days from the close date. There is nothing else you have to do. "When do I earn the Aeroplan Miles?" You can only be rewarded Aeroplan Miles on or after the close date of your real estate transaction.
